Job Description

AD Solutions is a Business Solutions Equipment and Service Provider with headquarters in Orlando, Florida. We are rapidly growing and are looking to add an Assembly Technician with excellent internal/external customer service and great communication skills. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity with hands-on training in an entry level position with a vigorous career track into Field Service Technician (client facing break/fix), IT Help Desk, or Operations Administration this is the job for you.

Primary Duties:

  • Assembly of office equipment and technology
  • Warehouse organization
  • Responsible​ ​for​ ​the​ efficient ​setup​ ​of​ ​all​ ​equipment​ to be delivered to customer locations.​
  • Ensure​​ ​proper​ ​documentation of ​ ​accessories,​ ​supplies​ ​and​ ​equipment serialization.
  • Troubleshoot​ ​failures​ ​and​ ​repairs​ ​for​ ​copier/fax/duplicators​ ​equipment.
  • Excellent ability to work through remote applications i.e. email, google scan, remote data entry.
  • Able to multitask data entry update​ ​and​ ​enter​ ​all​ ​new​ ​information​ ​regarding​ ​installation and delivery ​calls
  • Work within a team and customer focus culture.
  • Meet all installation/ delivery deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Physical​ ​Demands:

  • Physical​ ​strength​ ​and​ ​agility​ ​sufficient​ ​to​ ​perform​ ​the​ ​work​ ​of​ ​this​ ​class.
  • Must​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​travel​ ​within​ ​company​ ​service​ ​area​ ​on​ ​a​ ​daily​ ​basis​ ​to​ ​various​ ​customer​ ​sites​ ​by automobile​ ​or​ ​truck​ ​or​ ​to​ ​approved​ ​training​ ​locations​ ​via​ ​company​ ​authorized​ ​transportation.
  • Requires​ ​frequent​ ​kneeling​ ​and​ ​bending​ ​and​ ​considerable​ ​use​ ​of​ ​hands​ ​and​ ​tools.
  • Use​ ​of​ ​ladders,​ ​forklifts​ ​and​ ​other​ ​heavy​ ​transportation​ ​machinery.
  • Ability​ ​to​ ​lift​ ​and/or​ ​push/pull​ ​a​ ​minimum​ ​of​ ​60lbs.
  • Ability​ ​to​ ​stand​ ​for​ ​a​ ​minimum​ ​of​ ​5​ ​hours​ ​per​ ​day.
  • Ability​ ​to​ ​use​ ​hands​ ​for​ ​fine​ ​manipulation​ ​of​ ​tools​ ​necessary​ ​to​ ​repair​ ​equipment.
  • Must​ ​adhere​ ​to​ ​safety​ ​procedures,​ ​rules,​ ​and​ ​best​ ​practices.

Skills​:

  • Ability​ ​to​ ​understand​ ​and​ ​execute​ ​oral​ ​and​ ​written-instructions.
  • Ability​ ​to​ ​establish​ ​and​ ​maintain​ ​effective​ ​working​ ​relationships.
  • Technical​ ​ability ​to​ ​set​ ​up,​ ​maintain,​ ​repair,​ ​troubleshoot​ ​and​ ​refurbish​ ​multifunctional​ ​devices​.
  • ​Excellent ability​ to ​analyze​ ​information and demonstrate effective decision making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remote while meeting all deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to organizational changes and processes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid State Driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must be able to meet all employment background screening requirements required by AD Solutions and its clients (including state and local governments, municipalities, school boards, and childcare facilities).
  • Professional​ ​​​appearance​ ​and​ ​conduct.
  • Any​ ​visible​ ​piercing​ ​and​ ​tattoos​ ​must​ ​be​ ​covered​ ​at​ ​all​ ​times.
  • Work​ ​weeks​ ​are​ ​5​ ​days,​ ​Monday​ ​through​ ​Friday.
  • Flexibility​ ​with​ ​schedule​ ​for​ ​extended work​ ​hours​ ​or​ ​company​ ​events​ ​and​ ​weekend​ ​or​ ​holidays extended​ ​services.
