Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking ten skilled Assembly Technicians to join our team in the aerospace sector. Your main responsibility will be to assemble and build aerospace pins onto connector boxes using small hand tools. Experience in soldering will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble aerospace pins into connector boxes using small hand tools.
  • Inspect assembled components to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Utilize schematics and blueprints to guide assembly processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools for component assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience in aerospace components and connectors assembly.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in small component assembly within the aerospace sector.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Soldering experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred.

Work Environment

Work takes place Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with optional work on Fridays. The environment is dynamic and promotes efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melbourne, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
