Full job description Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our team. You will lead the financing process for vehicle sales, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients. Your expertise in financial services, loan processing, and credit analysis will drive revenue growth through effective upselling and negotiation. As a key member of our sales team, you will foster strong client relationships. Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire auto financing process from initial client engagement to final loan approval, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in loan processing and contract preparation.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients by providing transparent financial guidance, understanding their needs, and offering tailored financing solutions.
  • Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and service plans to maximize deal profitability while meeting client needs.
  • Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to secure favorable financing agreements that align with dealership policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations including TILA requirements during the loan approval process.
  • Utilize financial software systems proficiently for title processing, credit reporting, and loan documentation management.
  • Perform basic math calculations accurately during deal structuring, payment calculations, and contract review.
  • Maintain thorough records of all transactions, including contracts, credit reports, and customer communications for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to facilitate smooth deal flow and achieve monthly sales targets through effective upselling strategies.
  • Stay informed about current automotive market trends, financing options, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or in a similar role within a dealership environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive sales processes along with dealership operations.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications used for title processing, credit reporting, and loan documentation.
  • Knowledge of TILA regulations to ensure compliance during all lending activities.
  • Experience with upselling additional products such as warranties or insurance packages effectively.
  • Basic math skills necessary for calculating payments, interest rates, and deal structures accurately.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with a proactive approach to deal closing.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly to customers.
