Job Description

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to play a key role in supporting our financial and contracting activities while building strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and customers. The Contracts Manager will drive efficiency by streamlining processes and supporting capture efforts from proposal development through contract award. This role will ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation across all phases of contract administration, operating with a high level of ownership and attention to detail. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset and is skilled at crafting thoughtful, well-structured agreements that support scalable and purposeful growth.



What You’ll Do

  • Provide contract guidance, interpretation, advice and counsel to proposal teams, project teams, program management, and senior management.
  • Review, negotiate contracts and manage contracts. Lead customer negotiations in coordination with program management and pricing.
  • Interpret, prepare, and administer regarding a wide range of other agreements including non-disclosure agreements, leases, bailments, teaming agreements, service contracts, licenses, international representative agreements and others.
  • Recognize business and contractual issues in program performance, implement solutions, carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision
  • Promote an ethics-based business culture, reviewing contract terms for compliance with laws and company policies, and developing working relationships with internal business teams.
  • Work with internal customers (program managers, program directors, etc.) ensuring all communication with external customers is concise and consistent from both technical and contractual personnel.
  • Support preparation of proposal efforts including cost/contract/business proposal preparation.
  • Maintain historical contract and subcontract records.
  • Closeout contracts.
  • Support integrated systems implementation efforts and establish best practices to streamline contracting.
What You Bring
  • BA/BS degree w/5+ years government contracts experience
  • FAR/DFARS knowledge
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation/drafting of government contracts
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal / external customer representatives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Deltek CostPoint.
  • Familiarity with DCMA audit requirements
  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated customer focus/business partnership
  • Pricing strategy experience
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain at least a Secret Security Clearance
