The ideal candidate will bring a sophisticated, science-driven approach to nutrition, paired with a refined sensibility and the ability to operate seamlessly within a formal household environment while supporting a comprehensive, wellness-focused lifestyle.

In this role, the Nutritionist will work in close collaboration with the Personal Fitness Trainer and broader household staff, contributing to a cohesive and elevated approach to health and wellness for principals, family members, and guests. Responsibilities include the development of highly personalized nutrition programs, ongoing consultation, and thoughtful alignment of dietary strategies with fitness, lifestyle, and performance goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and implement highly customized nutrition programs aligned with the individual needs, goals, and preferences of principals, family members, and guests
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and provide ongoing support through both scheduled sessions and ad hoc consultations
  • Deliver elevated, guest-facing nutrition consultations, including short-term planning and tailored recommendations
  • Partner closely with the Private Personal Trainer to ensure consistency and synergy between dietary and fitness initiatives
  • Advise on supplementation, hydration, and lifestyle practices to enhance overall health and performance
  • Liaise with private chefs and kitchen staff to ensure meals are aligned with established nutritional plans
  • Review menus, recipes, and ingredient sourcing to uphold nutritional standards and objectives
  • Track progress and proactively adjust programs based on outcomes, feedback, and evolving goals
  • Stay informed on current research, trends, and best practices within the nutrition and wellness space
  • Maintain accurate records while exercising the utmost discretion and confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field, ideally within private households, luxury hospitality, or similarly high-touch environments
  • Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline; Registered Dietitian (RD) or comparable credential required
  • Demonstrated expertise across a range of nutritional disciplines, including performance, longevity, weight management, and medical nutrition therapy
  • Experience delivering high-touch, personalized service in a client-facing environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a professional, flexible, and communicative approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with principals, family members, guests, and staff
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into an established household team and contribute positively to overall operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Impeccable references from both current and former employers
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to Highland Mills, NY
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States
