Investment Banking Analyst | Cleveland, OH

Are you looking to pivot into investment banking, or continue growing your career within it?

A boutique Cleveland investment bank is looking to add an Analyst to their growing team. This firm works on M&A and capital raising transactions in the lower middle market, and they've built a team people genuinely enjoy showing up for.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting M&A and capital raising deals from sourcing through close, with exposure to 3-5 transactions at a time
• Building pitch materials and playing a real role in deal strategy and execution, not just formatting slides
• Researching market trends, valuation metrics, and the lower middle market landscape
• Managing data rooms and due diligence
• Working directly with business owners, deal teams, and other professionals in the M&A world

What they're looking for

• 1-3 years of investment banking experience, or related experience such as transaction advisory, valuation, or other relevant finance backgrounds
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling skills (pro forma statements, valuation models) and Excel/Office expertise
• Sharp writing and research skills, you can take a mountain of data and turn it into something useful
• SIE and Series 79, or willingness to obtain within 18 months
• A self-starter mentality and genuine interest in learning
