We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Aesthetician to join our expanding team. Located near the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in Staten Island and easily accessible from Brooklyn, our state-of-the-art facility offers top-tier aesthetic and wellness services. Established in 2023 by Anne Marie Stilwell, MD, we are renowned for our exceptional service and commitment to providing our clients with the highest quality treatments and care. Job Description:

We are seeking a high energy, bubbly and customer-focused dedicated aesthetician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an aesthetic practice or spa setting and will be part of a remarkable team led by a highly respected, double-board certified medical doctor.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of aesthetic treatments, including:

• Facials: Providing comprehensive cleansing, exfoliation, and advanced facial treatments.
• Chemical Peels (Superficial): Applying low-strength exfoliants (up to 30% concentration).
• Microdermabrasion: Conducting non-invasive exfoliation using diamond or crystal-based devices.
• Dermaplaning: Utilizing a sterile blade for manual exfoliation.
• Waxing & Hair Removal: Performing facial and body hair removal using soft or hard wax.
• Laser Hair Removal: Administering treatments under medical supervision.
• Hydrafacial Treatments: Offering complete cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration services.
• Eyebrow & Eyelash Services: Providing tinting, shaping, and extensions.
• Makeup Application: Applying makeup for special occasions.
• Body Treatments: Performing exfoliating treatments, wraps, and masks.
• Skin Consultations: Conduct thorough skin consultations using VISIA to recommend customized treatment plans and products.

Uphold high standards of client care and safety.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, attracting new clientele while servicing those referred by Still Well Med Spa.

Collaborate with our marketing team to enhance social media presence and contribute to advertising efforts.

Stay informed about current trends and advancements in aesthetic medicine.

Qualifications:

• A valid New York State Aesthetician license, in good standing, issued by the New York State Department of State, Division of Licensing Services.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a med spa or aesthetic practice.
• Proven expertise in performing the range of treatments outlined above.
• Strong commitment to safety, service excellence, and client satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering personalized client experiences.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with an integrated med spa electronic health records system.
