Full-Time Remote LCPC Counselor | Maryland Licensed Clinician

Location: Maryland
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

This full-time LCPC telehealth position is designed for a Maryland-licensed counselor who wants to provide steady, structured therapy services in a remote setting. The role involves working directly with clients through virtual sessions, helping them process challenges, improve coping strategies, and make progress toward realistic mental health goals.

You will support clients with a range of clinical needs while maintaining professional documentation, treatment plans, and ongoing communication through secure systems. The work is client-facing, clinically focused, and well-suited for someone who values both independence and organized support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote counseling to clients located in Maryland
  • Complete intake sessions and ongoing clinical evaluations
  • Establish treatment goals that are clear, practical, and clinically appropriate
  • Deliver therapy services for emotional, behavioral, and relationship-related concerns
  • Maintain organized session notes, treatment updates, and required documentation
  • Assess client progress and make care adjustments when needed
  • Recognize risk concerns and follow proper reporting or escalation procedures
  • Maintain a secure and professional telehealth environment
  • Communicate with clients in a respectful, clear, and timely manner
  • Adhere to Maryland counseling board requirements and HIPAA privacy standards

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing
  • Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical ethics, and state counseling regulations
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
