Job Description
Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse
We are pursuing a qualified Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in New Windsor, NY. The ideal candidate will have a NYS LPN license and be comfortable working with all age groups from infants to teens. This is a full-time position, working 4 days a week, with weekend rotating 12-hour shifts.
Licensed Practical Nurse General Requirements:
»NYS LPN license required
» 6 months to 1 year of nursing practice preferred, pediatrics practice a plus
»Strong communication expertise and the capability to work well in a team environment
»Comfortable working with all age groups from infants to teens
» capability to work 12-hour rotating shifts on weekends
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
»Provides nursing care to patients in conformity with established protocols
»Administers injections and medications as prescribed by physicians
»Performs testing as needed
»Educates patients and families on proper care and treatment plans
»Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR system
»Obtains authorizations as needed for procedures and referrals
Pay: $30 per hour
