Job Description

Salary: $50,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing on the Salesforce platform with a robust understanding of system architecture and solution design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, Bash scripting, and SQL variants like T-SQL or PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking concepts (DNS, DHCP), firewalls, VPNs, load balancing techniques, and virtualization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for the deployment and management of scalable applications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control systems like Git; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes; system hardening; vulnerability management; threat intelligence; and system monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of web services (RESTful API/SOAP), microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API management strategies.
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot complex issues related to system performance, security vulnerabilities, or network configurations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs to fulfill business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solution architectures that incorporate Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and system design best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems through RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and ETL processes to ensure a seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Implement system hardening measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and enforce security protocols in alignment with IT infrastructure standards, including cloud security, firewalls, VPNs, and network configurations.
  • Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Git to enhance development efficiency.
  • Assist in system administration tasks, including user management and permissions configuration via Group Policy Objects (GPO), DHCP setup, and network troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to Agile development processes by engaging in sprint planning, code reviews, debugging sessions, and documenting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities.
  • Optimize system performance through load balancing techniques, database tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and improvements in system architecture.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms such as VMware/ESXi/Azure/AWS, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
