Salary: $105,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- We require at least four years of directly related experience in data gathering, analysis, interpretation, trend analysis, forecasting, and modeling.
- We need strong Microsoft Excel skills for compiling, analyzing, graphing, and summarizing complex information.
- We require proficiency with personal computer tools, including databases, word processing, and presentation software, to collect, analyze, and model information.

- We perform daily validation, editing, and estimation of Settlement Quality Meter Data for EIM and EDAM resources before submission to CAISO.
- We run completeness checks, identify anomalies, and investigate missing, late, or inconsistent interval data across multiple systems and sources.
- We prepare, package, and validate outbound MRI-S submissions for T+9, T, and monthly settlement cycles.
- We compare interrogated meter data across sources and validate end-of-hour data in the Energy Accounting System.
- We analyze energy flow, single-line diagrams, and transmission network diagrams, and identify alternate meter data sources when needed.
- We generate reports to support customer data requests.
- We identify and recommend policy, management, procedural, process, and system enhancements to balance risk and reward.
- We support the creation, review, and updating of ELAP, EIDE, and EDAM load/resource configurations within Joules and JLS.
- We assist with parallel operations testing for EDAM onboarding, including functional, vendor, system integration, and customer-specific testing.
- We develop, maintain, and verify SQMD plans, including meter-to-resource mapping, aggregation rules, calculation logic, and data lineage documentation.
- We support annual SQMD affirmation and attestation obligations to CAISO by maintaining accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation.
- We look for opportunities to streamline meter data processes, automate validation routines, and strengthen load/resource reporting reliability.
- We coordinate with third-party LSEs and Scheduling Coordinators to support meter data access, entitlement management, and submission alignment.
- We research best practices and present proposals to improve processes and procedures.
