Warehouse Manager | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and accident-free work environment.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high productivity.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
• Develop and manage warehouse budgets, controlling costs and seeking opportunities for savings.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective inbound and outbound logistics.
• Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking, reporting, and operational improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations management, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• - Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• - Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP)
• - Experience with automation and robotics in a warehouse setting
